Ajax-Chubb Brandbeveiliging presenteert nieuw industrieel haspel en hi-ex inside air schuimsysteem op de StocExpo

Op 30 en 31 maart en 1 april 2010 opent de StocExpo in Antwerpen haar deuren. De StocExpo (Storage Terminal Operators Conference and Exhibition) is ‘s werelds voornaamste internationale tentoonstelling en conferentie voor bedrijven die te maken hebben met de opslag en overslag van olie, chemische producten en gas.

Speciaal voor de olie- en petrochemische industrie biedt Ajax-Chubb Brandbeveiliging B.V. innovatieve brandveiligheidsoplossingen. Van kleine blusmiddelen, brand- en gasdetectie, brandbestrijdingssystemen en service en onderhoud, tot training van uw personeel en het leveren van brandwachten. Dit willen wij u graag laten zien op onze stand (standnummer 98) op de StocExpo 2010.

Hi-Ex inside air schuimbeveiligingssystemen voor chemische opslag

Ajax-Chubb Brandbeveiliging is onder andere gespecialiseerd in het beveiligen van tankopslag en -overslag van chemische stoffen. Een van onze specialismen is Hi-Ex inside air schuimbeveiligingssystemen voor chemische opslag. Hiervoor heeft Ajax-Chubb Brandbeveiliging in het begin van de negentiger jaren een roestvrijstalen schuimgenerator van het aspirator-type ontwikkeld en getest. Deze schuimgenerator heeft een expansievoud van 1:650 en werkt met het HTF1000 schuim dat speciaal voor de beveiliging van chemische stoffen in tanks ontwikkeld is. Sinds de introductie van het Hi-Ex inside air schuimsysteem in Nederland heeft Ajax-Chubb diverse chemische opslagplaatsen beveiligd in onder andere de Benelux en China.

Nieuw industrieel haspel voor scheepvaart en chemische industrie

Ook brengen wij graag onze nieuwe industriële haspel onder uw aandacht, dat Ajax-Chubb Brandbeveiliging B.V. ontwikkeld heeft voor de scheepvaart en de chemische industrie. Deze RVS (zeewaterbestendig!) haspel heeft een 1½ duims (38mm) slang met een lengte van 20 meter en is voorzien van een schuimttank en een kleine schuimmenger. In eerste instantie levert de haspel een waterstraal waarbij gekozen kan worden tussen een gebonden straal of een sproeistraal. Bij verder draaien van de debietring op de straalpijp wordt met één handeling schuim toegevoegd aan de straal. De bediener van de straalpijp kan dus eenvoudig kiezen tussen blussen met water en blussen met schuim. Bovendien kan dit systeem bediend worden door slechts twee personen, terwijl er normaal vier personen nodig zijn om met schuim te blussen.

Wij zien u graag op onze stand en informeren u dan graag over de uitgebreide mogelijkheden die wij u kunnen bieden op het gebied van brandbeveiliging. Daarnaast presenteert Dr. Sthamer op de stand het volledige programma schuimconcentraten. Wij wijzen u tevens op de vele interessante onderwerpen die tijdens de conferentie worden besproken. Ajax-Chubb Fire Protection is specialized in protecting tank storage and handling of chemicals. One of our specialties is the Hi-Ex inside air foam fire extinguishing system for chemical storage. In the early nineties Ajax-Chubb Fire Protection developed and tested stainless steel aspirator-type foam generators. This foam generator has an expansion rate of 1:650 using HTF1000 foam, which has been developed especially for the protection of chemicals in warehouses. Since the introduction of the Hi-Ex inside air foam system in the Netherlands, Ajax-Chubb Fire Protection has protected various chemical stores in the Benelux, Israel and China, amongst others.

Also, we like to bring our new industrial hose reel to your attention. Ajax-Chubb Fire Protection developed this hose reel for the Navy and chemical industries. This stainless steel (sea water resistant!) hose reel is fitted with an 1 ½ inch (38mm) hose with a length of 20 meter and a foam tank with a small mixer. Initially the hose reel provides a water jet with a choice between a bound jet or a spray. By further turning the ring on the nozzle foam is added to the jet by only one action. In this way the operator of the nozzle can easily choose between fighting with water or fighting with foam to extinguish the fire. Moreover, this system can be operated by only two persons, while normally four are needed to extinguish using hoses.
